What data we collect

This website collects minimal data. Specifically:

• Contact form submissions — if you contact us via the contact page, we collect your name, email address and the content of your message. Submissions are delivered to us by Formspree.
• Analytics — we use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool. Fathom does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and is GDPR compliant. No personal data is collected or stored by us via analytics.
• Email newsletter — if you opt in to email updates, your email address is stored with Brevo (formerly Sendinblue). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
• Purchases — Pulse reports are sold through Polar, which acts as the merchant of record and processes your name, email address and payment details. We receive your contact details to deliver the report; we never see your card details.

Fonts are served from this website, not from Google or any other font service, so loading a page doesn’t share your IP address with a third party.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking or analytics. Fathom Analytics is cookieless by design. The only cookie we set is a short-lived, strictly necessary one used when the site owner signs in to the content editor; visitors never receive it.

How we use your data

• Contact enquiries are used only to respond to you.
• Email addresses collected via newsletter sign-up are used only to send relevant updates. We do not sell or share them with third parties.

Data retention

Contact form messages are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry. Email newsletter subscribers are retained until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email jack@by-jn.com. If you’re unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
